Soomo magazine

The boat building company Soomo needed a small format magazine to introduce its company. Group tasks were distributed.
My first task was to create an illustration for the sailor's knots article, second task to make an article about the work process of making the boat. I also created the impressum of the magazine where how the tasks were divided in the group can be seen.
For the illustration, I first designed a rope pattern brush in Adobe Illustrator and drew the images of the knots. The background color is based on the Soomo CVI.
For the work process article, I interviewed the owner of the company, Moonika, prepared the text of the article, selected suitable photos to support the content of the article, and placed them on the pages as a collage. I created the impressum based on the tasks of the work process.
